Good Food Month is here

Brisbane’s Good Food Month is underway and July is set to be well and truly the tastiest four weeks of 2014. The month-long celebration showcases the best restaurants, cafes, bars and producers Brisbane and the surrounding region has to offer, with a series of venue-based events and specials that will have the city eating and drinking in style.

We are excited to be joining the feast with several events and offers throughout July to celebrate Good Food Month and the amazing chefs and produce that make it all possible.

Young Chefs Dinner

The Young Chefs’ Dinner will see six of Queensland’s most talented and promising young chefs showing off their talents. From the kitchens of top restaurants Stokehouse, Restaurant 2, Esquire, Ricky’s River Bar and Dining at Noosa, and the Gallery of Modern Art’s GOMA restaurant, these up and coming chefs will each create an original dish for a never-to-be-repeated collaborative dinner.

The six chefs are finalists for the Good Food Guide’s Young Chef of the Year Award 2014-15 and have undertaken rigorous judging to earn their stripes.

Let’s Do Lunch

As a part of Let’s Do Lunch, a selection of great-priced set lunches from leading restaurants in Brisbane, we are offering you the chance to enjoy our fennel and chilli spiced pork belly with eggplant relish, bok choy and crispy garlic matched with a glass of wine, beer or sparkling water for $38 per person. A tribute to one of our classic dishes which has stood the test of time since its inception many years ago, the dish will celebrate the arrival of Good Food Month in delicious style.

This special dish will be available for lunch, every weekday throughout the month of July from 12:00-2:30pm.
